I believe the child you identified in the first row as Charlotte Holcombe Smith is probably Richard Shelby according to Shirley Shelby Purswell.
In the third row, the unidentified man is probably Uncle "Lige" holding one of the Holcombe girls.

Aunt Gayle or Aunt Jane, Is that mom grandpa is holding or is it you. If Uncle Charles is old as he appears than mom should be around close. Info Please.
Cheryl... regarding the child your grandpa is holding, I would have to believe it is your mom. I'm going by the apparent age I was in the photo Your mom was from November to April younger than me and Gayle was younger by about three years, I think. That being the case, the child would likely be too old to be Gayle and about right for Charlotte. That's just my best guess though.
